Job Description:
Constellation, a leader in energy solutions, is seeking a
dedicated and technically skilled Engineer in the Fuels division to
join our pioneering team. This role focuses on the development,
evaluation, and optimization of fuel technologies that drive our
power generation assets. By integrating innovative energy solutions
that span from traditional fossil fuels to renewable energy
sources, our Fuel Engineer plays a critical role in propelling
Constellation towards a sustainable future, ensuring our
operational practices both meet high environmental standards and
continue to be economically viable. Evaluate and develop viable
fuel options, including natural gas, renewables, and alternative
energies, aligning with industry standards and sustainability
goals. Conduct rigorous testing and analyze fuel performance across
different scenarios and systems, providing solutions to improve
efficiency and reduce emissions. Collaborate with cross-functional
teams, including environmental scientists, policy makers, and
operation managers, to implement fuel innovations and solutions.
Stay abreast of the latest energy trends, technologies, and
regulatory requirements to ensure compatibility and compliance with
national and international energy policies. Prepare technical
documentation, reports, and presentations to stakeholders to
communicate findings and recommendations effectively. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced knowledge in
thermodynamics, combustion, and energy processes Excellent
communication and collaboration abilities Proficiency in simulation
and modeling software Understanding of environmental impacts and
regulatory frameworks related to energy production Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Certification in
Energy Management (CEM) is advantageous
