**North America Loan & Agency Production Head - Executive
Director**This US-based senior leadership role will report directly
to the global head of Loan & Agency and be responsible for leading
a sizeable lending services organization (circa. 130 employees)
primarily based in Newark, DE and Chicago, IL. The North America
(NA) Loan & Agency group is responsible for a broad spectrum of
responsibilities of an operational nature in relation to syndicated
credit facilities where the firm has been appointed Administrative
Agent. This client-facing group is responsible for providing
high-quality service to multiple internal and external parties. In
a complex, sophisticated and evolving lending environment, the role
of the Administrative Agent is dynamic, highly visible,
multi-faceted and deadline driven.Primary responsibilities
include:+ Leading 3 core Productions teams responsible for Deal
Set-Up/Funding and Loan Servicing functions+ Building and
cultivating strong cross-LOB relationships with key stakeholders
across the firm, operating as an ambassador for Loan & Agency and
WLS more broadly+ Supporting various lines of business across the
Commercial Bank, Corporate & Investment Bank, and Asset & Wealth
Management+ Acting as an escalation contact for both client and
syndicate members (bank and non-bank lenders)+ Responsibility for
the overall productivity and quality of the NA Production teams,
acting as senior point of contact for business segment heads,
Credit Risk, Legal, and other key business partners+ Maintaining
strong oversight of the risk & control environment; representing
WLS in various firm-wide risk forums, audit cycles, and operational
risk deep dives+ Driving global partnership and engagement as part
of a senior leadership team+ Creating a culture of continued
process improvement+ Delivering a diverse and inclusive work
environment that positively champions equity and innovation+
Managing remote teams as part of the firm's workplace of the future
roadmap+ Identifying opportunities to grow and develop teams in
offshore locations+ Providing functional oversight of GCC and EMEA
Loan & Agency teams where required+ Identifying and driving
implementation of technology initiatives and operational process
changes to meet the requirement of the wholesale lending businesses
and clients+ Partnering with Operational Excellence team to drive
meaningful and strategic change such as process improvements,
product governance and client experience enhancements+ Partnering
with technology and transformation heads to re-imagine workflow,
tools and reporting mechanisms in a dynamic manner whilst ensuring
execution of efficiency initiatives+ Reviewing and leading changes
to org structure to optimize operating models globally+ Designing
and delivering high-quality, insightful MIS to drive a culture
where risk, escalation, capacity/resourcing and other critical
decisions are driven by quantitative and qualitative data+ Driving
various client service priorities with a focus on measuring and
improving client satisfaction**Qualifications & key requirements**+
10-15 years financial services experience gained at a top tier
investment/commercial bank+ Significant experience leading large
and complex lending operations+ Experience managing multiple group
head managers at Executive Director and Vice President level+ 5+
years syndicated loan product experience+ Outstanding leadership
qualities+ Exceptional communication skills+ Acute awareness of
operational risks occurring throughout the lending lifecycle+
Proven track record in thinking/acting strategically to influence
complex business decisions globally+ Results driven; ability to
lead/drive execution; methodical approach to identifying and
solving issues+ Aptitude to ensure timely group delivery and
execution of all daily controls/adherence to KPI targets+
Demonstrable success at transforming and/or building new operations
and middle office teams+ Fosters a collaborative team environment
within and across functional organizations+ Strong presentation
skills to senior management forums, executive committees & control
groups+ Excellent organizational and influencing skills to drive
and implement change across teams & regions+ Experience developing
high-performance teams through continuous training and dynamic
