Job Description We are in need of a Medicaid Product Specialist to play a crucial role in the data entry of Medicaid Renewal applications, ensuring the quality and accuracy of applications entered into the eligibility system. This position will be a full-time contract and onsite. What You’ll Do Learn, understand, and adhere to Federal and State laws, including Medicaid laws, rules, regulations, standards, and State Policies related to public assistance programs Comply with all CAI and State security requirements. Utilize computer inquiry systems to obtain necessary verifications. Conduct client onboarding with an “intake” questionnaire to assess Medicaid eligibility Analyze financial data and input calculations into the eligibility system Conduct client interviews to gather and exchange general and sensitive information to determine eligibility Collaborate with clients to securely collect application documents via digital files (pdf, jpg, etc.) Document all case management details using the eligibility system. Participate in one-on-one sessions and staff meetings to stay informed about processes and procedures Perform additional case management responsibilities as needed What You'll Need Required: High school diploma or equivalent One year of experience in data entry One year of customer service experience Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to analyze financial calculations Problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Fluent in English Responsible and independent individual committed to making a difference in the community, while working in a team-oriented environment Reliable transportation to/from the office, punctuality Availability to work a minimum of one Saturday a month, if necessary Knowledge of Medicaid or Public Programs of Assistance eligibility Strong written communication skills Bilingual communication skills The pay range for this position is $18.00- $20.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education.
