Job Description:
Constellation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr.
Fuels Engineer to join our dynamic team. At Constellation, we are
dedicated to providing innovative energy solutions across the U.S.,
committed to sustainability and efficient energy management. The
Senior Fuels Engineer will play a pivotal role in optimizing our
energy generation from traditional and renewable sources to meet
current and future demands while ensuring compliance with
environmental and safety standards. Evaluate and analyze the
performance of different fuel sources including natural gas,
biofuels, and renewable energy alternatives. Develop and implement
strategies for fuel procurement, storage, and consumption to
maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with the
environmental team to ensure compliance with federal, state, and
local regulations. Conduct research and tests on potential new
fuels, including synthetic and bio-based fuels, to determine
viability and environmental impact. Work closely with
cross-functional teams to integrate best fuel practices into
overall energy management systems. Provide expert technical support
for all issues related to fuel systems at various company sites.
Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
on fuel performance metrics, new initiatives, and progress of
ongoing projects. Expertise in fuel technology, including natural
gas, renewables, and emerging technologies. Strong understanding of
environmental regulations and standards related to energy
production. Proficiency in analytical and simulation tools.
Excellent project management and decision-making skills. Strong
communication and collaboration skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE) license
preferred. Certifications related to energy management and
sustainability are beneficial.
