What we offer: Excellent hourly pay up to $32 /hour based on skill level & experience 401(k) Retirement Plan with dollar-for-dollar company match Paid vacation and holidays Medical, Dental, and Short/Long-term Disability Insurance Life Insurance 23,000 sq.ft. facility with state-of-the-art equipment Friendly, fast-paced work environment Responsibilities – Lead Manual Machinist: Operates and maintains machine shop equipment We have Southwestern Industries mills and lathes utilizing ProtoTRAK controls Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects Maintains a safe and clean workstation Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed R&D and prototype small batch projects Support our Sheet Metal and Misc. Metals shop needs Requirements/Qualifications – Lead Manual Machinist: Experience in machining w/ steel, aluminum, and stainless steel preferred Ability to follow work orders and work in teams ProtoTRAK control experience a plus! Experience with Southwestern knee mills and lathes a plus!
