seeking a highly skilled Engineer specializing in Nuclear Fuels BWR
(Boiling Water Reactor) Cycle Management to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and
optimizing fuel cycle designs and performance, ensuring compliance
with regulatory standards and fostering continuous improvements in
safety and efficiency. This position offers a unique opportunity to
directly contribute to the sustainability initiatives of one of the
nation's leading energy providers by enhancing the operational
excellence of our nuclear fleet. Develop and manage Boiling Water
Reactor (BWR) fuel cycle designs to optimize performance and
cost-efficiency. Analyze reactor physics and thermal limits to
ensure safe and reliable operation. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to monitor and evaluate fuel behavior and
performance during reactor operation. Maintain compliance with all
relevant local, state, and federal regulatory requirements and
industry standards. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to
enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Provide
technical expertise and guidance on fuel-related issues to support
operational and strategic decisions. Deep expertise in nuclear fuel
cycle management and reactor operation. Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills with a focus on reactor physics and thermal
hydraulics. Proficiency in nuclear simulation software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective
cross-functional collaboration. Strong project management abilities
with a focus on meeting timelines and budgets. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Professional Engineer (PE)
license is preferred. Certification in Reactor Operator or Senior
Reactor Operator can be advantageous.
