Role Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of operational process improvement projects of all scales from end to end, including identification, planning, documentation, status updates, execution, and timely delivery.
  • Maintain a project management log with clearly defined action items, target dates, and stakeholders, that includes regularly updated status to completion.
  • Influence stakeholders of all levels to be engaged, and actively participate in the initiative objective.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Global Alternatives Operations operating model and recommend areas of improvements and change.
  • Promote and carry a strong control mindset, that always adheres to Firmwide and Regulatory policies and best practices.
  • Support several global Alternatives Product Middle Office leads with their project management initiative's needs.
  • Identify and remove impediments and prevent distractions that interfere with the ability to successfully deliver.
  • Actively participate in strategic planning discussions, adding value by sharing insight on solutions to problems, and proactively taking the initiative to partner with colleagues with common interests.
    Skills Required:
    • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience managing complex program and project initiatives, strategy implementation activities, in the financial services industry.
    • In depth knowledge of Asset Management or Investment Management principles, operational services, and financial instruments.
    • Experience leading large scale projects and process improvement programs that include multiple stakeholders and impact areas.
    • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing attention and efforts accordingly based on real-time evolving needs.
    • Comprehensive understanding of financial operations process improvement and project management techniques.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in using objective data to drive recommendations and influence stakeholders.
    • Able to effectively explain complex issues, possible solutions, and possess strong written and oral communication skills, effectively present to senior executives with ease.
    • Knowledge of Alternatives Investments is a plus.
