seeking an experienced physical therapist, occupational therapist
or speech language pathologist to help lead our dedicated team at
our pediatric outpatient center in Newark, Delaware!
Theraplay, Inc. is a leading provider of children's therapy
services, with fourteen outpatient locations throughout
Southeastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. We provide the
highest quality pediatric physical, occupational, speech and
language, and feeding therapies to children from birth up to age 21
years. Our outpatient centers are the perfect combination of play

them in fun and functional activities. We believe that things are

This opportunity is available to a dynamic pediatric physical
therapist, occupational therapist or a speech language pathologist,
who has strong leadership and organizational skills. The ideal
candidate will have experience working in an outpatient facility
and must have at least three years of work experience with
children. Candidates must possess leadership skills, with a proven
history of mentoring other therapists and helping to positively
lead teams. Exceptional communication and organizational skills are
expected. This is an excellent opportunity to lead an
interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational
therapists, and speech language therapists, as well as a small
staff of front desk employees, while continuing to evaluate and
In addition to evaluating and treating patients, responsibilities
of the Center Manager include:
Carry out and enforce policies and procedures by orienting new
staff members, supervising sessions, and communicating changes
Ensure staff compliance of all state practice acts and professional
Oversee productivity and scheduling of therapists, and manage
payroll and staff files.
Manage and assist with staff needs, either clinical or
Manage continuing education and tuition reimbursement for staff
Oversee recruitment of staff, working with the HR Team.
Oversee that all reimbursement for the center is being handled
correctly- ensuring that the front desk responsibilities are on
Conduct monthly staff meetings.
Complete operating reports.
Offer customer service to our physician and referral sources as
well as patients and families.
Assist in marketing aspects for the center, which include knowing
and communicating referral trends and evaluating the needs for
in-services for referral sources, as well as participation in
events and contests.
