world. The Opportunity: ECI has an exciting opportunity for an
Associate Director, Information Security ready to help the world of
financial services build robust security programs. ECIs position
and ability to provide metrics and information around the clients
security program is world class. This role will be the weatherman
of the clients security regime; only with accurate information
providing actionable ways to prepare and prevent impacts from the
tornado! The person filling this role will have both a strong
technical background combined with a strong ability to articulate
risk cross-functionally to all levels within an organization.
Jargon need not apply here! This is a hybrid remote role with a
strong preference for candidates to be based in the New York
tri-state area. What you will do: In this role you will work
closely with the Director of Information Security and continue to
enhance ECIs Governance and Risk Program (GRP) service offering.
You will have a manager that reports directly to you who oversees a
global group of security professionals whose passion is second to
none! Your role will be responsible for handling the overall
security service for existing and new clients. Success in this role
includes familiarity with the security frameworks, e.g., ISO 27001,
NIST 800-53, OCIE Examination and PCI-DSS and the ability to tie
risk to the organization based on their operations. In this role,
you will function as a player-coach when it comes to policy
compliance/remediation; vendor management exercises; build out
policies; conducting security assessments; vulnerability scans and
management just to mention a few. Take over and mature the
operational aspects of the Governance and Risk Program Handle
client escalations and ensure the overall client experience is
white glove Develop and groom the team to be excellent business
analysts, communicators, and can threat model based on risk Gain
clients trust through displaying knowledge and experience in all
client interactions Develop additional offerings based on
capabilities of team and client demand Track the success of the
Governance and Risk Program Optimize team capacity. Add new team
members and split out services as required Develop automations and
methods to simplify the ability to deliver services and increase
profitability Maintain awareness about the potential risks based on
the environment they are operating in and the clients they are
working on Who you are: You are passionate about cybersecurity, a

change agent. In this role, you will change the way that
organizations in the financial industry operate their security
program. The successful Associate Director, Security will possess:
Experience working with any of the various security frameworks such
as ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, OCIE Examination, PCI-DSS Have a broad
depth of knowledge as it relates to the technical aspect of
security along with the breadth of knowledge of industry events
Information security certifications a plus e.g., CISSP, CISA, CRISC
College degree preferred Consulting experience a plus Strong
communication skills. Speak, listen, and write in a clear,
thorough, and timely manner using appropriate and effective
communication tools and techniques. Unequivocable ethics.
Understand ethical behavior and business practices. Ensure that own
behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these
standards and aligns with the values of the organization. Proven
leadership experience fostering teamwork, trust, and cooperation
with an ability to effectively set goals, manage conflict, resolve
issues, and make decisions that enhance organizational
effectiveness. Exceptional planning, decisions making, problem
solving and organizational skills. Assess situations to determine
the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions which
are timely and in the best interest of the organization. Solve
Problems: Assess problem situations to identify root causes, gather
and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and
make recommendations and/or resolve the problem. Strong project
management skills to manage multiple efforts simultaneously
