Join an organization where you can make a difference! -Kendal - Together, transforming the experience of aging. -The Director for Procurement reports to the VP of Health Services and is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic business plan for Quantum to support Kendal Affiliates and Kendal Corporation group purchasing. The Director for Procurement will oversee, manage and grow assigned group purchasing and is responsible for sales, procurement, internal and external communications, and collaborative planning, while developing relationships with Kendal System affiliates, other Group Purchasing Organizations and other organizations to strengthen future sales potential and growth within the Senior Living market. This position blends autonomy with a team environment seeking outcomes that foster Kendal's values .Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, or related area.
• 5-7 years' business experience in conducting and managing procurement activities within complex organizations.
• 5-7 years' d emonstrated successful experience in project management (conception to implementation) .
• Possess a working understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn, operations within a Life Care community.
• A proven track record of successfully leading the delivery of multiple projects/assignments with competing deadlines.
• Possess negotiation skills and ability to influence with or without authority at all levels of the organization.Preferred:
  • Experience in group purchasing operations preferred.
