Job Description:
As the **Custody FED/DTC Settlements - Executive Director** ,
for ensuring all aspects of operations for clients are completed,
transactions are processed on time, exceptions are resolved
proactively; provide single point of contact team and subject
matter expertise to the clients. Custody Operations covers trade
instruction capture, settlement; fail management, cash instruction
capture, projections, overdrafts, asset servicing instruction
capture, dividends, foreign exchange, collateral, derivatives
lifecycle management & bank loans.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Manage and oversee the US Settlements teams across Custody
Operations; Assume and Execute full control of daily operation,
ensuring adherence to procedures and controls and providing
necessary data to senior management and clients
+ Lead / contribute to end-to-end process reviews; Assume ownership
and represent the Product/Business, Client Service & internal teams
across the globe
+ Establish and maintain relationships with key internal operations
partners that support the Custody & Fund Services business; partner
with key stakeholders to help streamline the core operations
processing through people, process & technology changes
+ Partner with Product Development and Technology to help
automate/streamline operations processes to help enhance client
experience and build scalability into the business
+ Follow processes and procedures for all duties and
responsibilities within JPMC; Identify and recommend processes and
procedures constantly to improve accuracy, reduce redundancy and
mitigate risk
+ Manage and escalation contact for all Settlement issues across
Custody Operations; Partner with Client Service across the regions,
to help change client behavior where required
+ Build key subject matter expertise in the team across equities,
fixed income, cash, foreign exchange, asset servicing, which will
provide value added services to clients
+ Develop and coach people across all levels in the organization;
responsible for location strategy & hiring locally; Provide
direction and leadership to the team; Contribute to the strategic
development of asset servicing products, while Driving consistency
of control standards and programs across regions and LOBs, Regions,
Products, Locations, and across Functions
**Required qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills**
+ Excellent prior Custody/Markets/Prime brokerage experience;
managing staff, key attention to details, analytical &
problem-solving skills
+ Strong teamwork and influential skills, with ability to
demonstrate flexibility; Proactive to ensure " **Best in Class** "
results for all clients
+ Exceptional critical thinking, project management, analytical and
communication skills (i.e. communicate effectively at all levels of
the organization)
+ Experience of working on large scale, multi-stream programs;
Serve with strategic thinking coupled with practical execution
+ Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent

+ Successful completion of business Risk and Control
Self-Assessments
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills including taking the
initiative to support change and enhance controls
+ Strong time management skills, self-directing and capable of
dealing with high pressure, time sensitive tasks
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable
with MS Office skills & presentation
