Psychiatric-Mental Health opening in Newark, Delaware. $15,000 SignOn Bonus! The selected candidate will provide supervisory coverage of the Nursing Department, other patient care areas and the hospital, in general, Night shift (7p-7:30a) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday OR Saturday and Sunday. • Employee Referral Program Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:
  • Current license to practice nursing in Delaware (or eligible to receive or renew).
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Preferred one year of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with teenage and adult patient populations
  • Demonstrates sound leadership skills and utilizes these skills in organizing the activities and schedules for medical and/or non-medical tasks of the unit for a given shift; ability to work on units, as needed record of consistently high quality of clinical and interpersonal skills to be an exemplary role model to others; displays basic knowledge of treatment procedures; interventions common to acute psychotic as well as to non-violent crises intervention practice
