ChristianaCare is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Team. The selected candidate will assist high volume MIGS surgeons with clinical, surgical, and other division-related activities. They will provide specialized care focusing on conditions including fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, and endometriosis in both inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of a licensed, fellowship-trained surgeon. The candidate will also participate in research and quality improvement projects related to this subspecialty.Why ChristianaCare MIGS?

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat MIGS patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Assist MIGS surgeons in first or second surgical assist roles including laparoscopic, robotic, and open cases.
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative management of patients.
• Perform history and physical examinations.
• Assess patients postoperatively in the hospital and office for routine vs non-routine postop courses.
• Function in a lead role in the development and execution of a MIGS Endometriosis and Fibroid Center

    • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.
    • Experience with the DaVinci robotic Xi platform required.
    • Must be certified or eligible for certification by the NCCPA.
    • License or license eligible in the State of Delaware and Pennsylvania, including prescriptive authority and DEA.
    • Previous Women's Health experience preferred.
