Summary Statement
The incumbent in this position will have the primary responsibility
of the Triage (case assignment) process and will also be a member
of the Central Intake Team for the Birth to Three Early
Intervention Program in NCC which serves families of children birth
to 3 years of age with suspected or identified developmental
delays. Duties include: Reviewing referrals processed by Central
Intake and assigning referred families to Family Service
Coordinators; Reviewing medical related documents attached to
referrals to identify concerning diagnosis or conditions pertinent
to infant/toddler development; Reviewing medical related documents
for established condition determination; Processing referrals that
are made to the program and preparing them for Triage (case
assignment). This position may assume supervisory responsibilities
in Triage and/or Central Intake based on the needs of the
Program.
