Support Services. We seek a strong people and process leader who
will function as the business leader for support services
department of the system including: Patient Escort, Environmental
Services, Guest Services, Transportation, Food and Nutrition and
Textiles. The successful candidate will have a high level of
expertise related to customer service, process improvement, possess
experience and confidence to be a change agent, the ability to
build strong relationships, and be a proven successful people

defined contribution plan. Principal duties and responsibilities:
Leads Support Services (EVS, Transportation, Food and Nutrition,
etc) for the system and oversees day-to-day operations of same.
Plans primary organizational outputs and participates in the
establishment of organizational objectives. Encourages effective
communication, productivity, quality, and individual
responsibility. Seeks and maintains effective working relationships
with internal business leaders as well as external
organizations/vendors. Develops goals and budgets and conducts
quarterly reviews to assess organizational performance and results.
Establishes sound financial and efficiency goals for reporting
departments. Education and experience requirements: Bachelor's
Degree in Business Management, Healthcare Leadership, Human
Services, preferred Masters Degree preferred Ten (10) years
progressive experience in Support Services Departments,
Environmental Services, and Patient Escort/Transportation
experience required ChristianaCare is one of the country’s most
