Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology Care Unit Casual position - commitment to (2) shifts in a 4-week schedule Shifts are 8-hour, 10-hour and/or 12-hour shifts Trained for On-call Weekend & Holiday commitment per department guidelines The scope of services on the Radiology Care Unit (RCU) encompasses a variety of diagnoses/ testing including, but not limited to, paracentesis, CT guided biopsies, Fluoro guided LP/myelograms, US guided biopsies, CT guided drain placement including monitoring and recovery of general anesthesia and moderate sedation. Requirements: BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire BLS and ACLS required At least two years of experience in acute care (prefer Critical Care, Stepdown, ED or PACU areas) required PALS preferred – must get within 6 months IV Certified preferred Moderate sedation experience preferred Current nursing licensure in the State of Delaware of compact state required Flat Rate $40.00/hr This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
