Job Description:
Nurse Manager - Virtual Nursing ChristianaCare is seeking an
experienced Manager of Nursing – Virtual Acute Care to lead our
innovative virtual care delivery model. This role assumes 24-hour
accountability for clinical and operational excellence in virtual
acute care nursing, including oversight of the Virtual Safety
Sitter Telemonitoring Program. You will play a key role in shaping
patient care through telehealth platforms while fostering a culture
of collaboration, professional development, and patient safety. Key
Responsibilities Provide leadership and direction for virtual acute
care nursing teams. Conduct routine leader rounds to ensure
visibility, teamwork, and quality care. Drive change management
initiatives and optimize patient flow in a virtual environment.
Mentor and develop nursing staff, promoting autonomy and
relationship-based care. Oversee hiring, coaching, and performance
evaluations. Lead daily huddles and monthly staff meetings to
communicate priorities and recognize achievements. Develop and
monitor performance improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Collaborate across departments to enhance program development and
clinical excellence. Participate in budgeting, staffing decisions,
and succession planning. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited
nursing program. BSN and Master’s degree (or BS MSN). Professional
certification in a nursing specialty required; Nurse Executive
certification preferred. Current RN license in Delaware or compact
state. BLS or ACLS certification required. Minimum 5 years of
clinical and leadership experience . Strong knowledge of ANA Code
of Ethics, ANCC Magnet® Model, and Relationship-Based Care.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

$110,177.60 - $176,280.00 This pay rate/range represents
ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation
at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered
to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors
including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and
qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
