ChristianaCare is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to lead and coordinate daily activities in our patient care units, ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient safety. This role involves collaboration across various levels of staff and management to promote an environment fostering innovative patient care and professional nursing practice. The Assistant Nurse Manager plays a critical role in providing support and guidance to nursing staff, implementing training programs, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and ChristianaCare's policies. Supervise and mentor nursing and support staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and policies. Coordinate staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimize resource use. Assist in the development and implementation of nursing practices following current regulations and evidence-based practices. Conduct regular staff evaluations and deliver constructive feedback to promote professional growth. Ensure that patient care meets the standards of safety, effectiveness, and cultural competence. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the health system to enhance patient outcomes. Respond to patient and family concerns with sensitivity and professionalism. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities. Expertise in clinical practices and standards of care. Competency in handling patient care management systems. Ability to manage crises and make decisions under pressure.
