Job Description:
ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse to lead our Operating Room team during overnight
weekend shifts at our Newark location. As a non-profit health
system focused on delivering exceptional care across Delaware, we
are committed to providing advanced healthcare services. In this
pivotal role, you will oversee the nursing operations, ensuring
patient safety and optimal outcomes. This position includes a
$6,000 sign-on bonus as an appreciation for your commitment to our
mission. Supervise and coordinate nursing activities in the
Operating Room during assigned shifts. Ensure compliance with all
healthcare regulations and safety standards. Manage patient care
efficiently and advocate for patient needs. Participate in the
development and implementation of patient care plans. Assist with
surgical procedures and ensure the Operating Room is prepared and
properly stocked. Provide mentoring and guidance to other nursing
staff. Monitor and report any changes in patient conditions
promptly. Proficient in standard operating procedures of the
Operating Room Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Ability
to work independently and handle high-stress situations Excellent
problem-solving and critical thinking skills Knowledge of
healthcare laws and regulations related to surgical operations

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Delaware BLS/ACLS
Certification CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) preferred
