Job Description:
ChristianaCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Reviewer II. This
position plays a critical role in enhancing patient outcomes by
conducting thorough reviews of clinical documentation and patient
records to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and optimize
care delivery. Located in Delaware, ChristianaCare champions a

services. This vital role supports our commitment to excellence and
quality in patient care, focusing on comprehensive health
assessments and collaborating effectively with medical teams to
facilitate patient care planning and improvements. Evaluate patient
care reports and health records to verify accuracy and
completeness. Identify, analyze, and help rectify any discrepancies
in patient documentation according to compliance and healthcare
standards. Work closely with healthcare providers to advise on
necessary documentation improvements. Provide feedback to clinical
teams regarding procedural improvements and patient care
enhancements. Participate in committees and collaborative teams to
enhance quality of care and patient outcomes. Conduct regular
audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and internal
health service standards. Strong analytical skills to assess
clinical documentation Excellent communication skills for effective
collaboration with medical staff Knowledge of healthcare laws,
regulatory standards, and compliance requirements Ability to
maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficient use of medical software and electronic health record
(EHR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Delaware or multi-state privilege under the Nurse
Licensure Compact. Certification in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or
similar would be advantageous.
