Job Description:
ChristianaCare seeks a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse to join our Operating Room team in Newark, focusing on
providing exceptional care during overnight shifts on weekends.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a

be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining the highest
standards of surgical care and patient safety in our
state-of-the-art facilities. Prepare the operating room and
surgical instruments before, during, and after surgery. Ensure a
sterile environment in all areas of responsibility. Assist surgeons
during operations, following precise procedures and protocols.
Monitor patient vital signs and maintain, evaluate, and report
patient documentation. Collaborate with the surgical team to
implement patient-specific care plans. Provide post-operative care
and instructions to patients and their families. Participate in
continuous education and professional development opportunities.
Proficiency in operating room protocols and safety guidelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong critical
thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure
in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in the use of medical software
and surgical equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of
Delaware. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS) certifications required.
