Registered Nurse on Inpatient Surgical Step-Down Unit-Day/Midnights Christiana Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Surgical Step-Down Unit, 4D. This is a 35-bed general surgery step-down inpatient unit, caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Are you ready for a higher level of care? Requirements: - BSN required; or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire. - One year of nursing experience required. Two years' of nursing experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred. - Licensed or license eligibility in the state of Delaware. - BLS Certification required. Hours: This is a full-time position of 72 hours per pay/36 hours per week. The hours for this position are rotating Day/Evening shifts of 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. and Overnights of 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. This requires a weekend rotation and follows internal weekend requirement practice. Holidays required per organization policy. Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
