Job Description:
ChristianaCare, a leading non-profit health system, is looking
for a dedicated Nursing Coordinator to join our team in Delaware.
The Nursing Coordinator will manage nursing activities within our
healthcare setting, ensuring that patient care is delivered
effectively, efficiently, and compassionately. This role is pivotal
in managing daily operations in our various departments, including
coordinating care, managing resources, and developing nursing
staff. You will work closely with healthcare team members to foster
a collaborative environment while emphasizing quality patient care
and staff development in accordance with our mission to promote
health. Coordinate daily nursing operations, including scheduling,
staffing, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with
healthcare regulations and standards. Promote the development and
training of nursing staff. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals to maintain high quality care. Implement new policies
and improvements in patient care procedures. Monitor patient care
for quality and efficacy. Strong leadership and organizational
skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency
in healthcare software and systems. Knowledge of healthcare laws
and regulations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the
state of Delaware. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
