Job Description:

System Freight, Inc., a leader in direct-to-store deliveries and fleet outsourcing in the Northeastern United States, is seeking a diligent and experienced Fleet Operations Coordinator. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of our fleet, including scheduling, maintenance, and compliance with transportation regulations. The ideal candidate will efficiently coordinate operations to ensure that all deliveries are executed on time and within budget, upholding our commitment to excellence and reliability in service. Coordinate and monitor day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring effective management of schedules, routes, and vehicle maintenance. Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all vehicles are in top operational condition and meet safety standards. Develop and implement logistics plans that optimize routing and reduce costs. Ensure strict compliance with company and government regulations pertaining to transportation and safety. Manage documentation related to fleet operations, including logs, maintenance records, and transport permits. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to keep them informed of the status and issues related to fleet operations. Analyze operational data and reports to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to achieve operational efficiencies. Strong organizational and planning skills Proficient in GPS and route management software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with fleet management and maintenance scheduling Strong understanding of transportation safety and compliance regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certificate in Logistics Management Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – beneficial but not required
