**This is arole well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step intheir career. As a Biochemist II, you will be responsible for** :

+ You will work with cross functions to resolveproduction issues including raw materials, reagent formulation, QC testing, andproduct release.

+ You lead process and/or design change projects,following written protocols, prepares validation and/or test results reports,working with cross function team to get deliverables in time.

+ You participate/investigate escalated customercomplaints and manufacturing issues. Coordinates and carries out investigationsand implements corrective and preventive actions.

+ You create and participate in the design ofexperiments, coordinate and perform data analysis and write internal reportsand documentation.

+ You may lead a team or directly investigate theperformance of raw materials, new and re-formulated assays and manufacturingprocesses, working with Technicians in the laboratory running Syva, AU,Dimension, Dimension Vista, Atellica and other instruments with serum andother biological fluids of human and animal origin.

+ You have goodproject, time management and people skills, working with cross function teamsto meet product release on time and project milestones.

+ You have a good understanding and working knowledgeof polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies and principles of immunodiagnostictechnology including EMIT technology as well as experience with immunoassays.

+ Since you will troubleshoot and resolve technicalissues of chemistry and immunoassays, you need knowledge and experiences ofprotein chemistry and chromatography, EMIT technology, automated immunoassayanalyzers and/or ELISA, chemiluminescent technology, Western Blot, SDS-PAGE.

+ You will have extensive interactions with crossfunctions, therefore, a strong work ethic, excellent written, presentation andcommunication skills, and the ability to work as a project leader as well asindependently is essential.

+ You need proficiency with Microsoft Office, statisticalanalysis knowledge, understanding lean production system and Six Sigma, usingMinitab is a plus.

+ You are in a technical support role and fast pacedenvironment, and need to have team orientation, be flexible and demonstrate theability to switch priorities to meet business needs, must be a quick learner.

**Requiredskills to have for the success of this role**

+ Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in chemistry,biochemistry, biology, medical technology, or related field.

+ Minimum of 3-5 years technical support or laboratory experience,including experience in chemistry and immunoassays. Advanced degree (MS orPh.D.) may be substituted for experience.
