_In this position you will join our R&D Assay Product Development team._

**This is a role well suited to an ambitiousprofessional, looking for the next step in their career. As a** _Biochemist 1 - R&D_ **, you will beresponsible for** :

+ Youwill provide assistance in research, analysis, and experimentation forproduct and process development of clinical chemistry methods.

+ You will assist with assay verification,validation, and routine testing following written protocols.

+ Youwill assist with preparing documentation needed to accomplish routinetechnical assignments.

+ Youwill assist in developing designs for a variety of products, processes,and components.

+ You may assist withinvestigation of the performance of raw materials to use in the manufacturingprocess for IVD products.

+ You will provide assistant in a widevariety of routine technical assignments.

+ You have good PC skills (MS Officesoftware like Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel)

+ Youpossess strong laboratory skills, good organization skills,troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment are essential.

+ You provide assistance in preparingreports, charts, graphs, and other documents.

+ You are comfortable handlingpotentially biohazardous materials (serum, plasma, urine, etc.).

+ You have good presentation skills inthe technical environment, and you show team orientation and goodcommunication skills.

**Required skills to have for thesuccess of this role**

+ Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent training / experience in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or clinical chemistry / medicaltechnology.

+ Typically,up to 2 years of successful experience in related field.
