Job Description:
DTC Custody Settlements Objective TITAN - Domestic Market
Settlements US direct custody engine; trade processing, confirm and
settlement processing, supporting the US market depositories (DTC
and The NSCC) Responsibilities
- Delivery and receive processing for all US depository supported
securities.
- Electronic receive and reclaim referrals to the user
population. Manual review where custody a/c is not available.
- Electronic holdover of unclaimed trades with report publication
to users.
- End of day net settlement
- Repo Adjustments
- Reclaim period settlement
- Pair offs
- Reclaim adjustments
- Lending, supporting discretionary, directed and third
party.
- New loans, return of loans and marks
- Processing to enable the Institutional Delivery (ID) interfaces
with the DTC. Direct Affirm, Auto Affirm and Hybrid Affirm. Also
performs subsequent settlement for ID related trades. Systems Used
- MITS
- DTCC PBS / SW
- TITAN
- OTM Control & Oversight
- Preparer & Reviewer Checklists
- Near Miss Management Program (NMMP) reporting
- Daily Health Check reports and regular Senior management review
of reported DHCs
- Weekly/Monthly review and reporting of KPI metrics to Senior
Management
- Written Supervisory Procedure (WSP) Monthly Review
- Quarterly Business Resiliency Site Failover tests
- Automated system (Phoenix) to monitor risk/control plans
- Daily Cash and Asset reconciliation review and sign-off
Strategic Initiatives
- Manage DTC, NSCC and vendor fee payments
- Support Industry changes vs. systemic enhancements as
required.
