Job purpose

The Sales Team Lead - will be a direct point of contact with our Consumer Sales Team as well as Inside Sales Coordinators. Assistance with troubleshooting technology as well as reviewing sales reports/documents for accuracy. Occasional resource for securing booked moves using current technology. Responsible for providing a strong positive first impression with internal and external customers. Will establish the relationship with the customer and be the liaison between the customer and the Consumer Sales Team.

Duties and responsibilities

The Sales Team Lead will:


  • Speak with potential residential customers in order to provide information on relocation services, including ball-park estimates based on pertinent information regarding their move
  • Proactively contact customers with established appointments for potential reschedules to better coordinate an effective daily schedule for the moving consultant
  • Verify moving information with customer for proposed estimate
  • Assist with additional training with Scheduling
  • Prepare all necessary paperwork in order to produce weekly/monthly sales reports: responsible for report filters in QLAB and examining weekly data to determine overall conversion within lead sources etc.
  • Produce estimates within QM for purposes of securing small moves as inside sales
  • Support Sales Managers when necessary


    Education

    • High school diploma or equivalent

      Experience

      • Two (2) or more years of customer service/sales experience and/or training preferred

        Knowledge

        • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services; i.e., customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
        • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology
        • Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; and learning and motivation



          • Knowledge of Microsoft-based computer products, including Excel, Outlook, Word Knowledge of Google products, such as Google Calendar



            • Skill in verbal communication - speaking to others to convey information effectively
            • Skill in written communication - communicating effectively in writing, with a basic understanding of grammar and usage, as appropriate for the needs of the audience

              Skill in time management

              • Skill in identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
