itsunmatched customer service.Summary/Objective: As a member of
Samtec Signal Integrity Group and Technical Staff, you will work to
provide methods, modeling, and direction for product engineering
focusing on emerging industry standards. This will include
obtaining and sharing a deep understanding of current system
architectures and connector applications. Research into unique
solutions to interconnect impairments is expected as well as
assisting with signal integrity and system challenges of emerging
industry standards.Essential Functions/ Responsibilities: Work
independently and with product design groups to enable Samtec
product roadmap. System level analysis of visionary connector
concepts. Industry level influence on the direction of the high
data rate Standards. Demonstrate passionateattitudein Samtec
electrical standards engagement through ownership, communication,
and collaboration in a pragmatic research environment. Collaborate,
cooperate, andmentor associates. Willingness to travel
20%.ITAR:Must be able to legally work in the United States.
Position requires the candidate to be a US Person as defined in
ITAR, 22 CFR 120.15 (US Citizenship or Resident Alien Status) and
defined by 8 USC 1101(a) (20).The responsibilities as defined are
intended to serve as a general guideline for this position.
Associates may be asked to perform additional tasks depending on
strengths and capabilities Required Experience: 15+ years of
experience in the electronics industry. 10+ years if candidate
possesses a Masters degree. Technology standards experience
especially OIF, IEEE, or PCIE.Knowledge of channel analysis
concepts in both frequency and time domain. Experience working with
an interdisciplinary, international team. Statistical analysis,
DOE, strong communicator, able to summarize, enjoys brainstorming,
experience in Intellectual Property development.Working experience
with Ansys Electromagnetics Software.Education: Bachelors Degree in
Electrical Engineering or Physics is required. Masters Degree in
Electrical Engineering or Physics is preferred.
