  • Design a complete project, system, component, or process.
  • Prepares complete project documents.
  • Designs and conducts experiments, and analyzes and interprets data.
  • Formulates and solves problems.
  • Assigns tasks to and directs engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
  • Plans and coordinates detailed aspect of the engineering work.
  • Prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
  • Assists with proposals to provide professional services or obtain funding for engineering projects or programs.
  • Receives general direction on key objectives.
  • Receives guidance when necessary on unconventional or complex problems, direction on modified techniques, and new approaches on assignments with conflicting criteria.
  • Interacts with clients, customers, officials, contractors, and others.
  • Attends project meetings and presents specific aspect of engineering assignments.Qualifications: -
    • Professional engineer's license in the state of Maryland (or the ability to obtain a Maryland license within three (3) months of hire.
      • Seven (7) years of water resources experience and must be able to demonstrate intimate knowledge of and experience in the execution of water resources projects including phases of feasibility, conceptual design, construction document preparation, permitting, and construction management and documentation. -Powered by JazzHR
