TITLE Client Relations Associate

DESCRIPTION The Client Relations Associate performs a broad range of functions to support daily client relationship management of the Client Services department. This position interacts directly with our clients to ensure all project order needs are met. This position also has a requirement to help support the Client Operations team with cross-departmental projects as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides superior service to clients by building and maintaining trust through professional, timely communication. Client communication methods include email, phone, video and in-person meetings, as needed to effectively support client needs.
  • Meets with clients weekly/bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly based on individual client needs
  • Communicates to client of order processing/fulfilling issues including Order delays, short orders unable to be fulfilled, and coordinate with client on order replacement items as needed.
  • New client onboarding
  • Communicates with Client Operations team on all operational items for client projects
  • Optimizes customer processes and anticipates needs through thorough client knowledge and regular check-ins with Client Operations team
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS Position Requirements
    • Customer service experience highly preferred
    • Four-year degree preferred
    • Thorough attention to detail, ability to work as part of a team
    • Prior lab experience or scientific background (2-4 years)
    • Unity, NetSuite, LIMS, CRM and ERP systems experience a plus
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills in order to work well with the team
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Basic chemistry/laboratory knowledge preferred
    • Problem solving and time management skills
    • Ability to follow directions and take initiative
    • Maintains regular work schedule and is free from excessive absenteeism or tardiness This position works in our Newark, DE office. After successful completion of the introductory period, position may be eligible to apply for a hybrid/telework schedule, working 3 days in office, 2 days at home.
