Job Description:

Quality Technician long term contract assignment with Yoh's client located in Newark, DE. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Performing visual and dimensional inspections of blanks and finished parts.
• Providing input for inspection methods and improvements of inspection technique.
• Assisting the Material Review Board in the investigation of dimensional and visual related defects.
• Maintaining information systems-electronically and manually.
• Using measurement hand tools and equipment properly and accurately.
• Working in teams with others as both a leader and an individual contributor.
• Determining the proper sampling needed to meet customer and industry requirements.
• Completing audit paperwork to document audit tests and/or findings.
• Communicating audit findings by preparing reports for quality team to analyze.
• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge of processes and procedures.
• Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing examination of parts.
• Ensuring compliance of - parts via applicable plans and documentation.
• Assisting with monthly calibrations.
• Assisting with the 100% inspection of all parts of a job. Visa-sponsorship and/or relocation assistance are not available for this position. Please include a current resume with your application to be in consideration for this role. Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Basic mathematical skills with some knowledge of trigonometry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to interface with individuals at all levels and functions of the business
  • Work independently with minimal guidance; including exceptional time management, planning, organization and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Correctable 20/25 vision in at least one eye-initial and annual eye exams are required
  • Adequate color perception as defined by initial eye exam Pays $20 an hour - #IND-SA #CB-SA #LI-SA
