Aerotek is hiring for a maintenance mechanic in Newark, DE! The position starts at $26.50-$30.00+ based on previous experience. This position offers full benefits (Health, Dental, and Vision plans & 401k)Job Responsibilities: Helps keep machinery, equipment, and plant structure in operating condition--- Trouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as required.--- Repairs machines, fixtures, gauges, and fits replacement parts and/or makes replacement parts as required. --- Experience repairing/replacing 3 phase motors, working up to voltage 480v.--- Must be able to perform facility repairs: plumbing, HVAC, fixtures, etc.--- Capable of operating precision hand tools, and electronic equipment.--- 5+ years as a maintenance technician within the manufacturing industry; strong mechanical skills with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, etc.Work Environment/Shift:1st & 3rd shift - Manufacturing facility, steel toe boots, PPE requiredApply today!
