FULLY ONSITE TRAINING PERIOD***POSITION PURPOSE This position
performs accounting duties and financial analysis in support of
various accounting and business functions. This will include
assisting in the completion of month-end close, variance analysis,
and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role will
also include partner cross functionally to support other
departments including Operations, Procurement, Accounts Payable,
Customer Service, Logistics, Tax, and Information Systems. A
successful candidate will live in both the big picture as well as
in the details, and have a desire to help elevate the department to
the next level. PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES Perform month-end
close activities and variance analysis for multiple production
facilities. Prepare monthly journal entries and expense accruals
Ensures the integrity of the data in the accounting system and
ensures that system documentation and backup is in place. Analyze
product costing and profitability on a monthly basis Assist with
the maintenance and improvement of processes and controls
associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
Establish and maintain strong business partnerships with other
areas outside of the department to understand financial issues
relevant to their functional areas. Assists with the implementation
of accounting systems, methods, procedures and controls. Assist
with internal/ external audit requests.QualificationsEducation /
Experience / Background Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Three to five years professional experience in cost accounting or
financial analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
(vlookups, macros, pivot tables, etc.) Experience with major ERP
systems, preferably SAP (S4/Hana) Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Must
demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness
to assume additional or new responsibilities. Must demonstrate
effective oral and written communication with all levels of the
organization. Self-starting, flexible and responsive; able to make
independent decisions in a fast- paced environment Passionate and
curious to learn and to stretch abilities. Ability to adapt to new
systems and processes Proactive and willingness to take initiative
to solve problems and provide solutions Ability to handle
confidential or sensitive information or issues. Required
Certification / Licenses / Training CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly
preferred. Physical Requirements Must be able to pass a criminal
