Job Description:

Encompass Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be integral in assessing patient respiratory function, administering treatments and therapies, and ensuring the highest quality of care within our state-of-the-art facilities. Your expertise will help optimize treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, contributing directly to the patient's recovery journey. Evaluate patient respiratory conditions through diagnostic tests and discussions with healthcare team members. Develop and modify individualized care plans based on patient needs and responses. Administer treatments including aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy. Monitor and record patient progress and treatment effectiveness. Educate patients and families on respiratory care and ongoing treatment management. Ensure the maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment and the compliance with safety standards. Proficient in using respiratory equipment including ventilators and oxygen delivery systems. Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Excellent communication and patient education abilities. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Must be a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
