Job Description:
ChristianaCare, a leading non-profit health system in Delaware,
is looking for a dedicated EKG Technician to join our dynamic
healthcare team. As part of our mission to prioritize advanced and
specialty care, this role is critical in providing high-quality
diagnostic cardiac services. The EKG Technician will be responsible
for performing diagnostic tests to assess the heart rhythm and rate
in patients, utilizing electrocardiogram (EKG) equipment. You will
support a range of patients by providing precise heart function
data that aids in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.
Operating and maintaining electrocardiogram (EKG) equipment to
perform diagnostic tests. Preparing patients for examination,
explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort. Recording
patient results meticulously and maintaining appropriate
documentation. Identifying and resolving issues with EKG recordings
as needed. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize
patient care strategies based on EKG results. Proficient in the use
of EKG equipment. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented
with strong organizational abilities. Ability to work
collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from a
recognized Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a
Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or able to obtain within
one year of employment.
