Job Description:

Markets Income Team Associate: The department is responsible for the processing of global income across different security types including equities and fixed income products held by the firm and its Prime brokerage clients. The role offers staff the opportunity to work within both different line of business to build up comprehensive product knowledge. The team works closely with various groups across the firm, including trading desks, middle office, finance teams and settlements. This interaction enables employees to gain an insight into other operations and obtain a high-level knowledge of the diverse range of the companies products. Key Responsibilities: --- Overseeing the daily processing of Dividends / Coupons across various markets including US, Canada, Central, and South Americas --- Will require to manage the daily workflow with tight deadlines and high volume of transactions --- Responsible for ensuring all regulatory reporting is completed by the team timely and accurately as well as signing off daily controls including end of day checks --- Production of daily/weekly metrics to senior management --- Cash and stock break management --- Will be acting as escalation contact and working with the team and investigating and resolving complex dividends related queries --- Establishing good relationship with Front and Middle Offices, Global Custodians, and market counterparties --- Ensure adherence to escalation policies, maintain up to date awareness of risk policies and procedures, attest to operational procedures at required intervals --- Work on projects as required by industry mandate, process improvement plans, client requirementsCandidate Requirements --- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent work experience --- Asset servicing knowledge and experience within securities operation environment preferred --- Knowledge of the transaction / trade lifecycle --- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to rapidly changing business and technology needs --- Strong risk and control awareness and ability to implement mitigating controls --- Ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality --- Exceptional problem / issue resolution skills --- Capable of working under pressure and to cope with changes --- Relationship building skills, strong ability to develop partnerships to drive results --- Very strong verbal and written communication skills --- High degree of attention to detail --- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) --- Required to take and pass Series 99 Exam
