Job Description:Responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling for multiple products with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth and minimizing risk and operating losses and/or other financial and marketing exposures. Develops complex program models to extract data and uses multiple databases to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilizes portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results. Excels at risk/reward trade off. Build relationships with external agencies. Participates in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. SAS and/or MicroStrategy experience preferred; 2-5 years experience preferred. The Small Business Lines and Loans Strategy Analyst will have a unique end to end view of Small Business lending.-- - The analyst will be responsible for credit strategy development and performance monitoring through the credit life cycle of a Small Business client.-- - The analyst will perform complex analysis aimed at improving automation optimization, while managing credit risk.-- - Coverage will span Business Advantage Unsecured Lending, Line of Credit, Term, SBA and Practice Solutions products. While this position has no direct personnel management responsibilities, it does require the ability to interact with and influence business partners both within and external to the department. This position requires being the subject matter expert on multiple business-related and technical-related topics and an ability to independently drive strategic improvements. The analyst will use analytic methods to drive targeted results with responsibility for maintaining appropriate credit strategy controls.
